what is Earth day?

Have you ever been heard what Earth day is? In my opinion is not. I haven't heard it .But I know eco-friendy. For a long time, we have wasted energy. For example, Plastic bottle, plastic bag,disposable wooden chopstick and so on. We use these only one time. Every time I heard eco-freindy, I think we should try not to waste energy. But I forget my will and I use these things. I think We have to save earth energy.
